I over-optimized my flow path

03:10 on Pad B-12, 60 bpm at 9.2 ppg with 35/40 at 2 ppa and 1.25 gpt FR; I dialed apparent viscosity to 17 cP at 511 s-1 and the flow path got so orderly the proppant formed a single-file queue in the blender tub… Anyone else ever tune properties so precisely the sand starts obeying traffic laws?

Drop to about 15 cP at 511 s-1; or bump blender rpm 5% — no more ‘queue’ :vertical_traffic_light:.

When my sand starts forming a queue, I crack the tub recirc for a 5–10 second pulse every few minutes — just enough swirl to knock over the traffic cones without touching gel or rpm. Minor caveat: you’ll see a small tub-level wobble, so I only do it once the rate’s settled. You ever try a quick recirc burp, @OP?
