Improving Pump Performance in Fracking

I’ve been troubleshooting pump issues on the field lately, particularly with our latest unit from last quarter. It seems like minor maintenance adjustments can optimize performance significantly, but I’m curious what other technicians have found useful. Any particular procedures or insights that have worked for you to boost efficiency?

I’ve had great success with adjusting the valve settings on our older pump models. Just a slight tweak can make a noticeable difference in flow rates, especially considering how much we’re trying to push through in the field. It seems like minor maintenance can go a long way; have you also tried checking for air leaks around the seals?

One thing that’s worked for me is regularly inspecting the hydraulic fluid levels and changing filters on schedule, especially with the newer units. It seems small, but it can prevent larger issues down the road. Have you noticed any specific symptoms related to performance dips with your unit?
