Keeping 40/70 moving in slickwater

On a Wolfcamp B job last week we pumped 80 bpm with HVFR at about 20 cP (511 s-1) and 100 mesh rode the flow, but 40/70 began to strand near 1.6 ppg about 250 ft from clusters. I’d rather fix it with rate and pulsing to keep Re up than just thicken — who’s got a stable carrier window for 40/70 at 80 bpm in 5.5-in casing without pushing past about 25 cP?

I’d try short rate sweeps once you cross ‘1.6 ppg’: bump 80→88–90 bpm for 10–15 s every 60–90 s to re‑entrain 40/70, then settle back, keeping HVFR below ‘25 cP’ — we’ve held 1.8–2.0 ppg in 5.5‑in this way without thickening. Think of it like shaking a snow globe; do you have the surface pressure head to tolerate those 8–10 bpm bursts?

We stopped 40/70 stranding by blending about 12% 100 mesh into the 40/70 once past 1.5 ppg and throwing a 15–20 s neat‑water micro‑flush every about 3 min; kept HVFR 22–23 cP at 511 s‑1 and 80 bpm, and carry stayed intact about 300 ft out. @maria_p can your blender handle a salt‑and‑pepper stream and quick clean‑water kicks?
